Delilah Deli

Delilah Deli is a retail experience , having outgrown their previous location they not only moved into an old bank site , but this allowed them to offer the additional products and services that they couldn’t before. Their vision is a totally flexible food and drink experience. This means everything from a takeaway coffee to a longer time spent having a full table service meal. We want retail products to be added to each sale including weighed lines such as cheese or olives. The customer can start at the bar , move to a table, and then return to the bar after their meal.

Customer Background

Originally trading in a shop that was restricting their growth , they bought an old bank premises located right in the city centre to allow them to expand and this is when epos was introduced swapping from selling of scales before.

The Need for Change

With the rate of change of product prices we had to work quicker hence why we picked a system that could talk to the scales

The Solution

The Multi Retail software offer fast shop epos, with food service for our cafe and linking to Avery scales for our butchery and deli, you wont find many suppliers can do that

The Benefits

The system didnt need to be developed just used gradually expanded into after the initial transfer into the new premises

How Multi Retail helped us

Having worked out a trading style in Nottingham , we were able to roll out the system very quickly once we decided to do a second shop in Leicester.

We are in a position to run each shop as a unique operation with different products, prices and promotions. However we also get the advantage of a centrally managed system for sales figures and product range control

Although we were familiar with selling off scales we did not think this was flexible enough and s decided we needed an epos system. Open Retail was chosen as they had the bulk of the functionality already and with it being their own software could offer the additional functions required. We also added stock taking and wastage control .
